Speakers include: U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu; Elinor Ginzler, Senior Vice President of Livable Communities Strategies in AARP’s Office of Social Impact and an expert on housing and transportation options; Nancy McPherson, Senior State Director for AARP Louisiana; Frank S. Alexander, Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law and Director of the Project on Affordable Housing and Community Development; Dr. Tim Church, John S. McIlhenny Endowed Chair of Health Wisdom and director of the Laboratory of Preventive Medicine at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge; Dr. William Ankner, Secretary, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development; and Baton Rouge Mayor-President Melvin "Kip" Holden.
